Deru Market

This week we tried DERU Market’s call in/take out and it was AMAZING. We ordered one of the pizzas, a sandwich, the meatballs and the sweet potato fries and even after the 35 minute drive home - everything was still hot and so fresh! OF COURSE we ordered a slice of cake for dessert and a doughnut for the next morning - both were unreal. Easily the best chocolate we have ever had. I can’t say enough about how easy the call in/curbside pick up process was. During an uneasy time - I had such great confidence in their preparation and packaging of our food.

Fabulous service. Tough parking and there was a wait, but not long. Roasted chicken and goat cheese sandwich with red onion marmalade was moist and fabulous. Side salad tasted like it had bad lettuce. I like arugula so it wasn't that. I'm not sure what made it taste noxious. I know they would have swapped it, but I didn't want the trouble. Also ordered the chocolate cake with salted peanut butter frosting to go. Delicious! Too huge even for 2 people. Huge cake, I would have liked better icing to cake ratio (more icing). With the size of it, it easily could have had four layers rather than two to allow for more delicious icing. In all, I will go back for the service and atmosphere and to try the fries and other yummy food. My experience was mixed, but I was transported to relaxation by a friendly server and a chicken sandwich. That is something I am happy to repeat.

I love coming to this place for a treat of cake, we love the carrot and chocolate cake here although it’s a bit pricey, $16 for piece for 2 people. Hence why it’s a treat. Wait times here is something you should expect. Come 15 minutes early to get a table. Also, they have amazing coffee. We have never tried any of the food.

Went there for brunch on Sunday and there was a wait about an hour. I had farm scramble and it was very delicious and healthy. They have pizza here which looks very yummy. Next time will definitely try their pizza and also their cake 😊 It's a hidden place and not in main Street, but very popular and crowded.

I really think the Lord blessed them to do something special. I can personally say their food is amazing and it was thoughtful of them to add a note from the chefs with my meal.I shared two pieces of cake from here yesterday, with two others, and I must say it was perfect in absolutely every way. My favorite was the peanut butter chocolate cake. I also had the double chocolate cake and cookies which were good also.I’ve sat in the restaurant several months back and had a meal the food was amazing, however, the employees were not attentive, like all of them. But hopefully the in restaurant service gets better because I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

It's a nice place. I went in the morning on a Saturday.The staff is friendly.ordered a mocha and fries. It was delicious. They served my mocha in a soup bowl. I had a great experience here.

Would post pics but food looked to good I had to dig in! The peanut butter frosting is the best thing they make. And everything else is incredible. The fried herbs in the French fries follow by a close second! I would eat here all the time if I could. Great service that you can count on as well.

Hidden gem in the industrial part of Kirkland. Space is small with tables and a seated bar. Food is outstanding with many farm-fresh choices. Great vegetarian selection. Easy for take-away orders. Parking is limited and places gets crowded quickly during lunch. Friendly staff.

Unique, fresh tasting food. The best lunch I've had in a long time. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Love this place. A home run hit every time. Could you guys start giving out more realistic timelines with pick up orders. Have waited 15 minutes or longer 3 times after the time they told me to arrive.

Great food however the staff is not very friendly. I get it a fabulous place to spend a nice sunny afternoon enjoying their good food but they are always rushing you. The tables are too close together. The waiters /waitresses are not very personable, they take your order and just walk away and then come back for the check. They say the bare minimum they need to say.

The food here is incredible. It is a chic rustic cafe-restaurant style eatery that used to be an auto shop. Similar to their sister shop Little Brother nearby, they have bowls of coffee. It is a little pricey but worth it. Cake slices take two people minimum to eat due to the size. Such great quality!
